Marvel’s Fury Files is Hitting Disney+ Later This Month

The release dates of Marvel’s first batch of live-action Disney+ shows are currently up in the air thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. But in a few weeks, fans will be able to view the Marvel Universe through the eye of the world’s top secret agent. Via Marvel.com, the animated Fury Files are coming to Disney+ later this month.

Fury Files originally aired on Disney XD several years ago during their Marvel Universe blocks, which consisted of shows like Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. According to the official description, each episode takes on the form of a dossier on a different superhero or supervillain. These “files” were narrated by Nick Fury himself, voiced by Chi McBride. The episodes notably combined animation with motion comic artwork, making for a unique viewing experience. They were also quite short, clocking in at around three minutes apiece.

Marvel’s Fury Files will premiere on Disney+ on May 15.
