Henry Cavill Reads The Witcher Book Aloud in a New Promo

Netflix has released to its social platforms a new and intriguing promo for the upcoming The Witcher series. In the short video, Henry Cavill reads aloud an extract from The Last Wish, the first book of many focused on Geralt of Rivia’s series of adventures. The actor seems pretty comfortable while skimming through the pages, and he eventually ends the reading with a sarcastic remark.

“It’s not easy being a witcher,” Cavill concludes. “Trust me, I know. You’d think people would be a little more grateful when you save them from monsters.”
