Cronenberg & Olsen on A History of Violence

ComingSoon.net reports that A History of Violence director David Cronenberg and writer Josh Olsen appeared at Comic-Con International on Thursday to talk about the anticipated film. Here’s a clip:

The audience was then treated to an extended clip from early in the film in which Viggo’s character, Tom Stall, fights off two burglars who have chosen to rob his diner. The scene culminates in Tom shooting one of them in the head, leading to a rather gory scene of the robber’s face pretty much blown off, something that the audience loved! “I think we have a special audience here,” Cronenberg mused, “It was a really good response. Thank you.” and then added, “Just remember, children…don’t play with guns!”
