Robert Pattinson has come out with an update for one of his highly anticipated projects, the next entry in the Batman Epic Crime Saga. The Odyssey alum has also revealed what fans can look forward to in the film.
Pattinson revealed that filming the sequel has been significantly more taxing for him than 2022’s The Batman. In an interview with GQ, he revealed, “I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m literally like, “Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.” But it’s really fun.”
Pattinson was 33 years old while filming the 2022 film. Now 40 years old, it has been more than four years since the film came out. The Batman Part II is slated to release on February 18, 2028.

During the interview, Robert Pattinson also revealed exactly why fans should be looking forward to The Batman Part II. He said, “I think the movie’s going to be pretty great. It’s got a really, really fun cast, but it’s a marathon.”
Apart from Pattinson, the film also features returning talent from the first installment, such as Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. It will also feature a slew of new faces such as MCU alums Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson, along with Game of Thrones veteran Charles Dance.
Sebastian Stan will be essaying the role of Harvey Dent, better known as the Batman villain Two-Face. Scarlett Johansson will be playing Gilda Dent, Harvey Dent’s wife, while Charles Dance essays the role of Dent’s abusive father. Sebastian Koch and Brian Tyree Henry have also been cast in the film, but their roles remain undisclosed.
Barry Keoghan, who cameoed in the first film as The Joker, is expected to return for the sequel. However, no confirmation has been released on the matter.
Meanwhile, Matt Reeves has returned to direct the sequel, from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin.
