Robert Pattinson’s iconic Batsuit was recently spotted on the set of The Batman: Part II. The photos and videos taken on set provide the clearest view yet of the costume.
Recently surfaced photos from the set of The Batman: Part II show Robert Pattinson’s stunt double Rick English sporting the Batsuit. The images offer a more detailed look at this movie’s costume for the first time.
While part of the Batsuit is shrouded beneath a black robe, the chest of the dark armor remains visible. It showcases the same imposing and intimidating suit from the previous movie, complete with the Batman logo and the cape. However, the photos are not detailed enough to determine what modifications, if any, have been made to the original design from the 2022 movie.
The original Batsuit worn by Robert Pattinson in The Batman (2022) was co-designed by David Crossman and Glyn Dillon. The pair returns as costume designers on the upcoming sequel.
The Batman Part II set photos offer a closer look at the damaged Batmobile
The new set photos from The Batman: Part II have also captured a severely damaged Batmobile, potentially teasing a major plot point. The vehicle appears to have been in a crash, with fans already speculating what could have caused the damage. One fan on X believes that this could hint at a new Batmobile design.
Director Matt Reeves had previously shared the first official look of Part II’s Batmobile in action in an X post on May 8. Needless to say, the fate of the iconic vehicle remains unclear for now.
The Batman: Part II arrives in theaters on February 18, 2028. Besides Robert Pattinson reprising his role as Bruce Wayne, returning stars include Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin. The movie also stars Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, and Charles Dance.
