Avengers: Doomsday D23 Display Seemingly Confirms Previously Rumored MCU Movie Spoiler

A new look at the Avengers: Doomsday experience at D23 may have revealed a major plot detail. The footage appears to show the TVA after an attack by Doctor Doom. It also lines up with an earlier rumor about Doom’s plans for the organization.

Film analyst Erik Voss shared a video on X(Twitter) showing the damaged TVA display. In the video, Voss pointed out the destruction inside the TVA. He said, “Alright. So we’re in the TVA here in Avengers. Doomsday, our first look at the TVA of Doomsday. It’s been damaged. Dr. Doom has attacked this place.”

The D23 footage offers a closer look at what may be coming in Avengers: Doomsday

The damaged TVA footage gives a closer look at what may happen as it matches an earlier report about Doctor Doom. The report claimed that Doom would destroy the TVA and most of its timeline branches. The report said only one branch could remain after his attack.

Another report also claimed Doom could kill everyone at the TVA, including Loki. However, Marvel Studios has not confirmed either storyline.

The D23 footage therefore adds an interesting visual clue, but it does not confirm the rumored events. It does, however, suggest that the TVA could play an important role in the movie’s multiverse conflict.

The film is expected to bring several major MCU storylines together as different heroes face Doctor Doom. Chris Evans is returning as Steve Rogers, while Pedro Pascal leads the Fantastic Four as Reed Richards. The cast also includes Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh and several returning X-Men stars. Doomsday will also set up the events of Avengers: Secret Wars.

Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. Robert Downey Jr. stars as Doctor Doom, with the cast also featuring Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men characters. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.
