Marvel just revealed who Daredevil will be fighting next, and the covers alone tell a dangerous story. The publisher unveiled new connecting variant covers for Daredevil #6-7, teasing the villains of an intense upcoming arc.
Daredevil #6-7 feature connecting covers spotlighting next villains
Marvel Comics revealed in a press release that Daredevil #6 and #7 will feature connecting variant covers by artist Flaviano. These covers spotlight the villains of the upcoming arc titled “Of Moles & Owls.”
Stephanie Phillips and Lee Garbett’s hit Daredevil run continues with issue #6, which kicks off the new story arc. Daredevil finds himself caught in the crossfire of a deadly new crime war in this storyline. Flaviano serves as the special guest artist for interior art on the arc. He also drew the two-part connecting covers for issues #6 and #7. These covers specifically spotlight the antagonists Daredevil will face throughout the storyline.

Daredevil #6 arrives in comic shops on September 2, while Daredevil #7 follows on September 16. The two-week gap between releases gives fans time to appreciate each connecting cover half. Flaviano’s artwork promises to tease the villains before readers encounter them inside the pages.
Marvel also unveiled several other notable variant covers alongside the Daredevil reveals. Annie Wu’s Muppets Variant Cover for X-Men United #7 pairs Emma Frost with Miss Piggy. The cover celebrates the 50th anniversary of “The Muppet Show.” Jonas Scharf’s Black Cat #14 Fall Fantasies cover features Felicia Hardy playing in autumn leaves. Meanwhile, Mr. Garcin delivers a collage-style variant cover for the new Avengers #1 launching in November.
The new Avengers series spins out of Avengers: Armageddon with Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto leading the title. Additionally, Peach Momoko’s Momo-Tone Variant Cover for Friendly Neighborhood Mary Jane #1 joins the November releases. That limited series follows Mary Jane Watson after the events of Queen in Black. Marvel has promised more variant cover reveals in the coming weeks.
