Masters of the Universe’s post-credits scenes just set up everything fans have been waiting decades to see. The film’s post-credits scenes tease major characters and sequel plans for the franchise.

What happens in all three Masters of the Universe post-credits scenes?
Travis Knight’s Masters of the Universe features three post-credits scenes teasing the franchise’s future.
The first scene introduces Orko, the iconic floating magician absent from Dolph Lundgren’s 1987 adaptation. The CGI character speaks directly to camera about the film’s message. “In today’s story,” Orko says, “we saw muscles don’t necessarily make a man.” His design closely matches the original animated version that fans know and love.
The mid-credits scene then reveals She-Ra, the Princess of Power and Adam’s long-lost twin sister. Queen Marlena sets up the moment by telling Man-at-Arms, “I’d given up hope… Perhaps one day she’ll come back to us too.” The scene cuts to Etheria, where a warrior approaches She-Ra and asks, “Force Captain Adora?” She responds, “No, not anymore.” Her Sword of Protection then glows fiercely onscreen.
Australian actor Lauren Saliu, now based in London, confirmed her casting as She-Ra in a now-deleted Instagram post. She wrote that she was “excited to finally share” the role and “had so much fun embodying She-Ra the Princess of Power.” She later deleted the post, acknowledging that she had spoiled the scene.
The final post-credits scene sets up Skeletor’s return after his apparent death. Evil-Lyn, played by Kristen Wiig, retrieves Skeletor’s lifeless skull from the battlefield. She tells the skull, “I must say, you’ve looked better.” Skeletor’s maniacal laugh then plays over a black screen.
Knight remains eager about continuing the franchise but acknowledges nothing is confirmed yet. He calls the sequel “up to the world” and adds that the decision rests with audiences and Amazon.
The film currently sits above 70% on Rotten Tomatoes, though box office performance remains uncertain heading into its opening weekend.
