Popular Shonen Anime Finally Continues on Crunchyroll This Week

The second cour of Fire Force Season 3 is finally releasing on Crunchyroll soon. Better yet, both the Japanese and English dubs for the popular shonen anime will be available at the same time for the second part of the series. It has taken almost four years since the anime’s third season, which is the last season for the production (given that the manga it’s based on already concluded in 2022), was announced in May 2022 for fans to see the series to its final conclusion.

Fire Force Season 3 Episode 13 finally coming out soon

The continuation of Fire Force Season 3, specifically Episode 13, will air on Crunchyroll on Friday, January 9, at 9:30 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET. This is slightly earlier than expected given that earlier reports indicated that it would release on January 10.

The episode will be available worldwide except for a handful of Asian territories, including Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, China, and Taiwan.

We won’t spoil what happened in Episode 12, which aired on June 21 last year, but let’s just say that it had a very dramatic finish involving Kaijus and Cataclysms. Episode 13 is entitled “Unaware” or “Mujikaku” in Japanese that has the general meaning of “unaware, oblivious, or unconscious,” which is quite relevant to the story at this point.

The total number of episodes for Fire Force Season 3 is expected to be 24, though it has been rumored on X that the second cour could be extended to 13 episodes, which would help the anime stick the landing. Either that or we could have a Fire Force movie to wrap things up. At any rate, it’s expected that the remainder of the series will release on weekly basis on the streaming platform.

Other popular animes airing on Crunchyroll this season include My Hero Academia Vigilantes Season 2 and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3.
