Gen V Stars Talk Marie & Jordan’s Fate After Season 2

Another Gen V chapter could continue exploring Marie and Jordan’s evolving dynamic after the explosive events of Season 2.

While details about the next installment remain scarce, cast members have hinted that the complex romance between the pair might not be over yet. They suggested that the story’s emotional core could continue to play a central role in the show’s future.

Derek Luh says the door for Marie and Jordan’s romance post Gen V Season 2 is ‘of course, open’

In the Season 2 finale, Marie (Jaz Sinclair) faced Thomas Godolkin (Ethan Slater) alone without consulting Jordan (Derek Luh and London Thor). Despite their emotional connection, Jordan insisted they remain friends, saying the relationship felt unsafe without open communication.

Speaking to TV Insider, Derek Luh addressed the duo’s future, joking, “You know what, I think we need to close the chapter on that…” before clarifying, “No, the door is, of course, open. I don’t think going through what they’ve been through and loving someone like that, just like ends.”

Luh further explained that Jordan is “trying to figure out how to set their own boundaries and choose themselves first.” He added that both characters “need a lot of healing,” hinting that emotional recovery could define any future reconciliation between them.

London Thor, who portrays Jordan’s female counterpart, agreed with Luh’s remarks, while Jaz Sinclair also expressed enthusiasm for their dynamic and chemistry on set. “I just love our scenes together so much. I’d be so bummed if we don’t get to keep doing that,” Sinclair said, reflecting on their close collaboration and shared performance energy.

Although Amazon has not confirmed Gen V Season 3, the Season 2 finale set up Marie and Jordan’s next chapter. They joined Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) as part of the resistance opposing Homelander (Antony Starr). This ending left the door open for a rekindled romance and deeper character arcs within The Boys universe.
