A new update has officially confirmed the cast, plot, and expected release date details for All of Us Are Dead Season 2, offering a first look at how the hit Korean zombie series will expand beyond Hyosan. Recent production updates reveal the new setting, returning survivors, and fresh characters as the outbreak reaches Seoul.

Netflix has confirmed that All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is now in production.
The Korean YA zombie series, based on Joo Dong-geun’s webtoon, became a breakout hit in 2022, generating over 560 million viewing hours in its first 28 days and ranking in the Top 10 across more than 90 countries.
Returning cast members include Park Ji-hu (Nam On-jo), Yoon Chan-young (Lee Cheong-san), Cho Yi-hyun (Choi Nam-ra), and Lomon (Lee Su-hyeok). New cast members include Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won, and Yoon Ga-i.
The new season follows Nam On-jo, now a university student in Seoul. She is still coping with trauma from the Hyosan High outbreak. When a second zombie wave hits the city, she must survive without the friends she once relied on. Lee Cheong-san, Choi Nam-ra, and Lee Su-hyeok also return. Their stories explore how they are adjusting to life after the outbreak.
On-jo forms new bonds with her university seniors Yong Ma-ru (Lee Min-jae), So Ju-ran (Kim Si-eun), and Lee Jong-a (Yoon Ga-i). This group has developed their own methods for surviving the ongoing crisis. Meanwhile, Han Du-seok (Roh Jae-won), a team leader from the National Intelligence Service, adds fresh tension to the story.
Returning filmmakers Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su direct Season 2, while Chun Sung-il writes the script. FILM MONSTER Co., Ltd. produces the season, with co-production from SLL Joongang, KIMJONGHAK PRODUCTION, and NPIO Entertainment.
Netflix has not announced a release date yet, but the season is expected to premiere in 2026.
