“I feel like New Line probably definitely wants to make another one. I haven’t talked to anyone just yet about what it might be, but everyone had a really good experience on the last one, so I’d be surprised if we did not try to put our heads together and think of something,” Watts stated.
Jon Watts further revealed that he loved the Final Destination franchise and added, “I love Final Destination. I’ve always been a huge fan… I genuinely loved those movies.” He landed the job through his wife and fellow producer Dianne McGunigle. The New Line Cinema executives had a chat with her to recommend a producer willing to work on Final Destination: Bloodlines.
