The White Tiger, aka Hector Ayala, was portrayed by actor Kamar de los Reyes in Season 1 of the show. However, the late actor’s character was murdered in the show by Sergeant Cole North. The filming of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, starring Charlie Cox, is currently taking place in New York City.

The White Tiger might return in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, based on the new photo from the set. A user took to X (formerly Twitter) recently and posted an image of Camila Rodriguez’s Angela Del Toro in the White Tiger suit. Del Toro is the niece of the White Tiger (Hector Ayala) in the show.
This suggests that speculations surrounding Rodriguez’s character taking up the White Tiger mantle after Hector Ayala might come true. Rumors about Del Toro becoming the White Tiger first swirled after the death of Ayala in the show.
Ayala was shot in the head by Officer Cole North in Episode 3, titled “The Hollow of His Hand.” This incident took place after Ayala was found not guilty in the murder of a police officer. Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, fought Ayala’s case. Ayala couldn’t enjoy his freedom for long as he was shot, which left Del Toro devastated. Following Hector Ayala’s death, Angela Del Toro took over the White Tiger amulet.
