Hot Toys Makes Avengers Endgame Captain Marvel Figure

Carol Danvers inspired many outstanding action figures last year from her own movie, but that represented only half her cinematic output. When she came back for Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel made a few changes. Following the five years post Thanos snap, the Avengers’ most powerful heroine got both a haircut and a more comic-accurate costume. And ever since then, fans have been waiting for toy companies to deliver a replica of said costume. This time, Hasbro didn’t get there first. While there have been other imports, Hot Toys just revealed the debut of an Endgame Captain Marvel, which will probably put all subsequent offerings to shame.

From the official description: “Beautifully crafted based on the appearance of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the movie, the figure features a newly developed head sculpt with short hairstyle, a specially designed body equipped with LED light-up function on both sides of the forearms, the iconic red and blue costume with gold star emblem on chest and sash around waist in movie-accurate perfection, multiple energy-blasting effect accessories wearable on arms and hands, LED light-up Nano Gauntlet, painted and battle damaged effects, and a movie-themed dynamic figure stand for wide range of aerial poses!”

By the time Carol gets a movie sequel, chances are she will modify her costume yet again. But in the meantime, these classic duds simplify her look and convey the power of her symbol and color scheme. Like Peter Parker, some of us will just stare. Others will hurry to preorder the figure right now.
