In the recent presentation at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, the father of the Avatar franchise James Cameron has revealed new concept art for the upcoming Avatar 2. The Avatar 2 concept art features the iconic Na’vi dealing with some of their characteristic activities. Among them, fishing and riding the impressive flying creatures of Pandora. Returning cast members include Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, as well as Matt Gerald and Sigourney Weaver.
Cameron has said that Stephen Lang’s Colonel Miles Quaritch is coming back for all four sequels and will be the main villain throughout the story. Filming officially started on Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 on September 25, 2017. Post-production began on April 18, 2019.
