Crisis on Earth-X is the Title for The CW November Crossover

The CW and Warner Bros. Television have revealed that the Monday, November 27 and Tuesday, November 28 crossover event will be titled Crisis on Earth-X! The four-part crossover will include Supergirl, ArrowThe Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. They commissioned legendary comic arts Phil Jimenez (Wonder Woman) to create the artwork for Crisis on Earth-X. You can view it in the gallery below.

“We conceived this year’s crossover to be evocative of the annual Justice League/Justice Society crossovers we grew up with and looked forward to as kids,” executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg said. “Phil was the perfect choice to bring the comic book cover iteration of this idea to life. You can count on one hand the number of artists who could compellingly represent so many characters in a single image. Phil is one of them. And his design invokes the cover of Justice League #207, which was the 20th Annual JLA/JSA crossover. Our ten year-old selves are in heaven.”

The crossover is officially described as follows: “With all of the heroes in town to celebrate Barry and Iris’s wedding, villains from Earth-X crash the festivities with a deadly agenda.”

Supergirl will premiere the event on November 27 during its usual 8 PM time slot, with Arrow following at 9 PM. The first two episodes will be followed by The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on Tuesday, November 28 at 8 PM ET and 9 PM ET, respectively.

The shows are all set to return to the network the week of October 9, kicking off with Supergirl at 8 PM that Monday. Tuesday, October 10th will see the Season 4 premiere of The Flash followed by the Season 3 premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Fnally, Arrow shifts to a new date and time and will premiere its sixth season on Thursday, October 12 at 9 PM.
