Stephen Amell Reveals Wrestling Rival Stardust Will Guest Star on Arrow

What began as a playful back and forth on Twitter last summer between Arrow star Stephen Amell and wrestler Stardust (aka Cody Rhodes) turned into a real life wrestling match as Amell not only took to the ring but donned his Green Arrow costume during WWE’s SummerSlam last August.. Their fight even won the WWE’s Slammy Award for Best Celebrity Moment of the Year. The pair continued to play up their “feud” over the past few months and now it’s coming to a head on television again, this time in Star City.

Amell confirmed at the Heroes & Villains FanFest that Rhodes will be making a guest appearance on an episode of Arrow in the upcoming fifth season of the series. The details of who Rhodes will play in the series remain to be seen, but Rhodes did tease: “You can probably expect Stephen and I to get into another fight.” Who do you think he will play in the series? Rhodes joins an ever-growing cast for Arrow Season 5, which also features Rick Gonzalez (RushMr. Robot) as Wild Dog, Josh Segarra as Vigilante, Madison McLaughli as Evelyn Sharp, The Walking Dead star Chad L. Coleman in the villain role of Tobias Church, and the previously-seen Black Canary impersonator Evelyn Sharp as the vigilante Artemis.
