A new clip from Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD 3×02 has Blair Underwood and Chloe Bennet discussing the need for Secret Warriors
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD is back and part of a Marvel Cinematic Universe that is bigger than ever. It has already been said that Agents of SHIELD season three will draw inspiration from the Secret Warriors comic book series and, in a newly-released clip from this week’s episode, you can even hear Blair Underwood’s Dr. Andrew Garner call the “secret warriors” by name.
Titled “Purpose in the Machine,” Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD 3×02 is set to feature the return of Peter Macnicol’s Asgardian Professor Elliot Randolph (who fans will remember from the first season episode, 1×08 “The Well”). The episode’s logline is officially described as follows:
Fitz and the team enlist the aid of an Asgardian to unlock the secrets of the ancient monolith that swallowed Simmons, and Agent May is at a crossroads in her personal and professional life
The Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast includes Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Agent Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter, Adrianne Palicki as Agent Bobbi Morse, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie and Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell. This season they’re joined by guest stars Constance Zimmer as Rosalind Price and Matthew Willig as the Inhuman villain, Lash.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD 3×02 airs Tuesday, October 6 at 9:00pm ET/PT on ABC.
