The Hobbit Trilogy Extended Editions Trailer Debuts

The Hobbit Trilogy Extended Editions will screen in theaters this fall

Following yesterday’s news about the Blu-ray release of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Extended Edition, Fathom Events and Warner Bros. have announced a three-night event for fans of the series where The Hobbit Trilogy extended editions will be shown featuring an exclusive introduction from director Peter Jackson.

The exclusive series of three in-theater events include The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition on October 5, 2015, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Extended Edition on October 7, 2015, and the world premiere of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Extended Edition on October 13, 2015. Each event will begin at 7:30 p.m. local time.

From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson comes one of the most magical epic adventures, adapted from the enduringly beloved novel, The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. The Hobbit Trilogy tells a continuous story set in Middle-earth 60 years before The Lord of the Rings. Nominated for seven Academy Awards and winning numerous prominent awards, The Hobbit Trilogy is an epic journey of men, hobbits, dwarves, elves and the rest of Middle-earth’s creatures and cultures.

For the first time ever, the extended editions of each of the films in The Hobbit Trilogy will be shown on the big screen. You can get tickets of your own to the event by clicking here.
