In just one week, FOX and DC Entertainment will be bringing us “Gotham,” the Batman-inspired series that will explore the dark roots of the world of the Caped Crusader and some of his most infamous foes. You might think you’ve seen all the TV spots and trailers for the show, but just like the turn on the police procedural fans will witness this fall, we’ve got an exclusive 3D preview for the series that flips it on its head. Where once there was Oswald Cobblepot, The Penguin emerged. First there was Edward Nigma, who then became The Riddler. Now the first TV spot for “Gotham” is transformed, too. “Gotham” is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), “Gotham” follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.

Starring Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richards, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, David Zayas, and Jada Pinkett Smith, “Gotham” will premiere on FOX on September 22.
