Toy Fair: LEGO’s Full Line-Up Including Ghostbusters, Star Wars, The LEGO Movie & More!

Toy Fair 2014 officially launched today in New York City and, while we’ll be bringing you photos from the actual event very shortly, LEGO has released official shots for a number of upcoming movie tie-in sets, including their recently-announced Ghostbusters set, a new ship from “Star Wars Rebels” called “The Ghost,” Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Milano spaceship and several new sets from their The LEGO Movie line.

UPDATE: We’ve added nearly 300 more photos to the gallery taken during a special LEGO breakfast at the Javits Center on Sunday morning. These include pictures of some of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles playsets not related to the movies–at this year’s Toy Fair, a lot of the licensees for movies like Guardians of the Galaxy and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were wary of allowing photos to be taken–more DC Comics and Marvel Supeheroes sets, lots of current and upcoming sets tying into the mega-blockbuster hit The LEGO Movie, lots of upcoming “Star Wars” sets and other LEGO brands.

A couple of the highlights among the new photos include more pictures of the enormous 2,741 piece Metalbeard’s Sea Cow (and lots of cool “LEGO Movie” sets featuring things not seen in the movie, maybe for the sequel?), an 1,137 piece Star Wars AT-AT and some nifty sets that are part of LEGO’s Chima line.

As far as the Guardians of the Galaxy sets, besides the previously-released Milano Spaceship Rescue, there were two other sets on display: Starblaster Showdown featuring Star-Lord, as well as the Knowhere Escape Mission featuring Groot, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Nebula and a character called “The Sakaran,” who seems to be shown in all three sets. One of the sets also had a figure for Djimon Hounsou’s Korath the Pursuer.
