Thor: The Dark World Composer Departs Project

Deadline is reporting that composer Carter Burwell (True Grit, Twilight) will no longer score the upcoming Thor: The Dark World. They cite “creative differences” as the reason for his departure with an inside source telling them “They like him but it wasn’t the right project.” With just under six months until its release on November 8, Disney has plenty of time to find a new composer for the film. Who do you think they should hire for the job?

Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
