Emma Stone Gives Spider-Man Update

“We leave tomorrow for New York,” Stone said, “We’re doing exteriors in New York for a couple of weeks, so it’ll be done in mid-May.”

Stone did not commend on any questions about her character surviving the first film. “I’m not supposed to say anything,” Stone said, “I hate that.”

She did, however, comment on Andrew Garfield’s performance. “He’s the coolest, the best. He’s going to be amazing. I mean, he has to be—after all, it is called The Amazing Spider-Man.”

The Amazing Spider-Man is scheduled to hit 3D and 2D theaters on July 3, 2012.
