Buzz continues to grow around Miles Morales‘ highly anticipated MCU debut casting. A talented rising star has now expressed interest in stepping into the highly coveted role.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Juliano Valdi said he hopes to play Miles Morales. The teen actor recently wowed fans with his performance as young Michael Jackson in the acclaimed 2026 biopic Michael. Valdi is now eyeing another iconic role in his repertoire.
“I’m getting to the age where I really wanna play Miles Morales, so hopefully I can do that,” Valdi said of the Spider-Verse protagonist. “I’m not 15 yet, but I would love to hop in the MCU,” the young actor continued.
The 12-year-old went on to share that his “love of Spider-Man came early on.” The Michael star added, “I remember when I saw Spider-Man with Tobey Maguire, and it was the best action movie that I’ve ever seen. Also, my mom says that I look like Miles Morales, so that’s really cool.”
When do fans think Miles Morales will be introduced in the MCU?
Marvel president Kevin Feige has previously confirmed that he plans to bring Miles Morales into the MCU family. In a recent interview with China’s Watching Hollywood, the exec said that the hero will make his MCU debut following the release of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse on June 18, 2027, the third and final installment of the Spider-Verse trilogy. A recent rumor has further suggested that it might be sooner than that.
Additionally, Tom Holland has expressed his excitement for Miles’ introduction in the MCU. Speaking with the Associated Press during the promotion of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the British actor said, “I definitely have a desire to bring Miles Morales to the screen and to shepherd whoever the lucky young kid is who gets that job, in the way that Robert Downey Jr. did for me.”
In another interview with 1Live, Holland also teased that he knows when fans will see live-action Miles Morales on screen. When asked if he had any questions as a Spider-Man fan himself, the actor replied, “I guess it would be, ‘When will we get Miles Morales?’ would be the question I would ask. Because I know the answer.”
Amid the speculation, Marvel remains tight-lipped about Miles’ casting and debut in the MCU.
