Marvel has recently confirmed Kit Connor to play the role of Cyclops in the MCU. And as the mutants are finally coming in, here’s a rundown of every mutant who has been cast in the MCU so far.
The first confirmed casting was that of Professor Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Patrick Stewart, who played the character in Fox’s universe, donned the role in the MCU too. Next up, Ms Marvel introduced Kamala Khan, portrayed by Iman Vellani. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever saw yet another mutant, Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta. Kelsey Grammer also reprised his role as Beast in The Marvels.
One of the biggest castings came when Hugh Jackman reprised his role of Wolverine in the MCU’s Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024. In more recent updates, the MCU cast Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, who will be a part of the X-Men movie.
Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has also introduced the fans to yet another powerful mutant. After long speculation about Sadie Sink’s character, she was revealed as MCU’s new Jean Grey.

Currently, Marvel has not confirmed actors for possible mutant roles anymore. However, rumors have been circulating online about who the probable choices might be. According to scooper Apocalyptic Horseman, Tom Pelphrey might come in as Professor X. However, the account also called for Cooper Hoffman to be cast as Cyclops, which did not come true.
More buzz about the mutant casting has surfaced. Recently, @MyTimeToShineH stated that Charles Melton might be the new Beast for Marvel. Alongside, Cailee Spaeny is heavily rumored to don the role of Rogue.
Fans’ excitement about the mutants is at an all-time high now. Due to legal rights complications, mutants have never gotten a standalone movie in the MCU. Now, with all the casting reports emerging, the wait for fans might finally be over.
