Tom Hardy‘s Venom appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s post-credit scene. Fans have been wondering when Holland’s Spider-Man will cross paths with Venom since then. In a recent interview, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Brand New Day‘s producer Amy Pascal have given fans a small but hopeful reason to hold on to it.
Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast while promoting the new film, Pascal was asked how close Marvel and Sony had come to making the crossover happen. Pascal replied, “It would be great, let’s put it that way.”
When Johns Horowitz, the host of the show, pushed further and asked whether she still had hope, Kevin stepped in and said, “Always have hope.” Pascal later echoed optimistically, “I have hope. We have hope.”
Neither confirmed that a crossover is in development, but they made it clear the idea is very much alive. For fans, that’s enough to believe Hardy’s Venom and Holland’s Spider-Man crossover could still be in the cards.

Tom Holland has also expressed interest in sharing the screen with Venom. Earlier this year, the actor was asked whether Peter would encounter Symbiote. The actor replied, “One day, I’m sure,” and later added, “We’ll get to see the Symbiote.”
Tom Hardy also opened up about wanting the crossover movie to happen. Speaking on The Discourse Podcast in 2025, he revealed that the crossover with Holland’s Spider-Man came remarkably close to happening. He said, “We got as close as I could possibly imagine getting, apart from doing a film together, which I would have loved to have done because that just means so much fun.”
Although Marvel and Sony have not confirmed any such developments, the latest comments from Feige and Pascal suggest the idea is far from dead.
