MCU’s David Jonsson casting for Black Panther 3 got an exciting reaction from Michael B. Jordan. Marvel announced that Jonsson will star as the lead in Black Panther 3 during the recently held San Diego Comic-Con. Jonsson will portray the grown-up version of Prince T’Challa, son of King T’Challa, who was played by the late Chadwick Boseman.
Following the announcement, former Black Panther villain Jordan was spotted at the premiere of the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Los Angeles. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the Oscar-winning actor was asked about his thoughts on the latest Black Panther 3 casting. The 39-year-old said, “Oh, I love it. It’s amazing! I can’t wait, can’t wait!”
Jordan has a long history with the Black Panther franchise. He donned the villainous character of Erik Killmonger in the 2018 film titled Black Panther, and reprised his role in the 2022 sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Currently, there is no update on whether Jordan will come back for the franchise’s third installment.
