When does The Art & Making of Highlander come out?
The book, published by Titan Books and by Jonathan Melville, is the first official art book for the cult classic film and is set to be released on September 1, 2026. The book comes shrinkwrapped and decorated with spot UV gloss on the cover for a special shine, and also features brand new interviews with cast and creatives behind the movie.
Of course, it also features some stunning, never-before-published concept artwork and behind-the-scenes photography from the movie, making it a great gift for collectors and fans of the movie alike. The book totals 192 pages and will retail for $50.

Originally released in 1986, Highlander was directed by Russell Mulcahy and starred Christopher Lambert, Roxanne Hart, Clancy Brown, and Sean Connery. The movie followed the story of Connor MacLeod, a man who is revealed to be an immortal warrior who is destined to fight in a mystical land against other immortal warriors. The movie has since become a cult classic, and a remake is currently in development.
The Highlander remake is set to star Henry Cavill in the lead role of Connor MacLeod, originally played by Christopher Lambert. Alongside Cavill, the film will also star Dave Bautista, Russell Crowe, Jeremy Irons, Marisa Abela, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, and Max Zhang.
