A new Predator: Badlands clip has been released.
Predator: Badlands arrives in the United States next month from 20th Century Studios. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the science fiction action film stars Elle Fanning as Thia and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as a young Predator named Dek.

What happens in the Predator: Badlands clip?
The Predator: Badlands clip sees Dek battling a tree-like alien creature, potentially creatures, in the middle of a forest. While some fans of the franchise have expressed concern that Badlands might be toned down because of its PG-13 rating, the clip proves that there will still be plenty of creature violence to enjoy in the film.
Predator: Badlands will be the first film in the main Predator franchise to not be rated R; although, the 2004 Alien vs. Predator crossover movie directed by Paul W. S. Anderson was also rated PG-13. Per FilmRatings, Predator: Badlands has been officially rated PG-13 for “sequences of strong sci-fi violence.”
The official synopsis for the movie reads, “Predator: Badlands, which stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator (Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.”
This marks Trachtenberg’s third Predator movie after 2022’s Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers, the latter of which is an animated anthology flick that was released on Hulu this past summer. Before that, he also made 2016’s 10 Cloverfield Lane for Paramount Pictures. Trachtenberg produces Predator: Badlands alongside John Davis, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Brent O’Connor.
Predator: Badlands will be released in theaters and IMAX on November 7, 2025. Trachtenberg has previously said he already has an idea for another Predator movie after that, should Badlands prove to be a hit at the box office.
