Lionsgate has announced the Ballerina 4K and Blu-ray release date for its first John Wick spin-off movie, starring Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves. The R-rated prequel currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 76% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 294 reviews.
“The next chapter from the World of John Wick follows Eve Macarro, who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. Eve seeks revenge for her father’s death, and finds herself crossing paths with John Wick himself,” reads the official synopsis.
When is the Ballerina 4K and Blu-ray release date?
Following its digital release last July 1, Ballerina will now be available for purchase on 4K UHD (+ BD and Digital) and Blu-ray (+ DVD and Digital) starting on September 9, 2025. In addition, Lionsgate will also be releasing a 4K UHD (+ Blu-ray + DVD) Combo SteelBook, with exclusive versions available at Amazon and Wal-Mart.

The movie was directed by Len Wiseman from a screenplay written by Shay Hatten. Besides De Armas and Reeves, the spin-off also featured franchise stars Ian McShane as Winston, Anjelica Huston as The Director, and the late Lance Reddick in his last appearance as Charon. They are joined by franchise newcomers Norman Reedus as Daniel Pine, Gabriel Byrne as The Chancellor, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Lena, Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Nogi, Robert Maaser as Dex, David Casteñeda as Javier, and Choi Sooyoung of Girls’ Generation as Katla Park. The spin-off was produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Keanu Reeves, and Chad Stahelski. It was a production by Thunder Road Films and 87eleven.
