A new Avengers: Doomsday rumor regarding Ian McKellen’s Magneto has emerged online.
Avengers: Doomsday is currently in production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the Marvel Studios movie is currently scheduled to arrive in December 2026, while the sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, comes in 2027.

An X post from Avengers Update revealed that Avengers: Doomsday will soon be filming at Windsor Castle in the coming weeks. While many MCU fans assumed that this setting would likely be used to film scenes in Doctor Doom’s castle, potentially in Latveria, scooper MyTimetoShineHello reports it will actually be Magneto’s castle.
