Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Gets a Live Immersive Experience

The story of Guardians of Galaxy Vol. 2 is coming to life like never before. Marvel is joining forces with Secret Cinema for a “live immersive experience” based on the 2017 sequel. Unfortunately, it’s only available in the United Kingdom.

Since 2007, Secret Cinema has been hosting immersive events based on a wide array of popular films and TV shows. Some of its past work includes experiences inspired by The Empire Strikes Back, Moulin Rouge!, Stranger Things, and Blade Runner. The company also usually partners up with a different charity whenever it hosts a new installation.

Based on early details, Secret Cinema is going all out for its London-based Guardians of the Galaxy production. The event’s website features a message from none other than Yondu Udonta, who invites fans to get in on “the score of a lifetime” by linking up with his band of Ravagers. If you’re interested, you can click “I’m in” to join the official mailing list. When the experience launches later this year, guests will be able to “step into the 360-degree living, breathing world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe” and explore several locations from Vol. 2, including Contraxia and Knowhere. Additionally, they can even visit some new worlds along the way.

Visitors have a few different ticket options to choose from. The “immersive ticket” guarantees a two-hour-plus experience, with prices starting at £47 (about $61 USD) and going up to £98 (about $128 USD) for the premium version, which promises additional features like a private cloakroom and queue jump. Another option adds a screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, with the whole experience lasting longer than four hours. Prices for this option range from £59 ($77) for standard, £115 ($151) for premium, and £195 ($256) for a family bundle.

Guardians of the Galaxy: The Live Immersive Experience will open in August. Tickets go on sale on March 14.
