DC FanDome Announces 2021 Programming Slate

Last year’s FanDome event memorably delivered tons of exciting new announcements about DC’s upcoming film, TV, and video game slates. And it looks like this year’s edition of the virtual extravaganza is going to get even crazier. DC has just shared the full programming list for FanDome’s return this fall, promising new exclusive looks at some of the company’s most highly-anticipated releases. They also released new key art for the festival, which you can view below.

There are six big DC movies on the immediate horizon, and FanDome will have panels for all of them. After wowing audiences with last year’s teaser trailer reveal, The Batman will unveil a brand new trailer during the livestream. We can also look forward to sneak peeks at The Flash, Black Adam, and behind-the-scenes looks at Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. New content from DC League of Super-Pets will be screened as well.

Naturally, the livestream will also make time for DC’s small-screen output. Additional panels will look ahead to new seasons of Arrowverse staples like Batwoman and Superman & Lois along with newcomers like Naomi. Cast and crew members from Netflix’s Sweet Tooth are also expected to show up and drop hints about season 2. Plus, HBO Max will reveal new looks at Peacemaker and DMZ, with even more surprises on the way from both Titans and Doom Patrol.

Warner Bros. Animation will likewise peel back the curtain on its Aquaman: King of Atlantis miniseries as well as Batman: Caped Crusader. The long-awaited third season of Harley Quinn will be previewed, as will Young Justice: Phantoms. Additionally, the studio will preview its newest animated features: Injustice and Catwoman: Hunted. There will also be a DC Kids FanDome where younger viewers can catch sneak peeks at Batwheels, DC Super Hero Girls, and Teen Titans Go!

The event will even reveal new details about two upcoming video games, Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, both of which were announced last year. And of course, fans can anticipate new comic announcements as well. The Batman/Fortnite crossover, for one, alongside the new Black Manta series. Plus new additions to the Milestone Universe, Batman: Fear State, and a handful of new Wonder Woman titles.

DC FanDome will return on October 16.
