New Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons Preview Unveils Rose Wilson’s Origin
In the DC Universe, Deathstroke has had a largely contentious relationship with his daughter, Rose Wilson, a.k.a. Ravager. But their conflict hits new heights in Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons: The Movie, the new feature-length edit of the CW Seed series.
Warner Bros. Animation has released a preview clip from Knights & Dragons that puts the spotlight on Rose. Within the movie, she grew up alone and calls herself Jade. She has also been recruited into H.I.V.E. and risen to the rank of queen. Regardless, Rose’s quest for revenge against her father leaves her feeling empty inside. She also briefly recalls her formative years on the street.
Here’s the official description from Warner Bros. Animation:
“Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons offers a new take on the Deathstroke legacy. Mercenary and master assassin Slade Wilson leads two lives: one as the relentless killer known as Deathstroke, and the other as a dedicated family man. When these worlds collide, forced together by the vicious terror group known as H.I.V.E., it is the killer in Slade who must fight to save his loved ones, as well as what remains of himself. With his soul torn apart and his young son held captive, Deathstroke will have to atone for the sins of his past to fuel the battles of his future!”
Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons: The Movie is available on digital platforms now. The Blu-ray release will follow on August 18.
