The Guardians of the Galaxy Will Be In Thor 4
Vin Diesel is about to headline his own superhero movie, Bloodshot, later this week. However, Diesel may have pulled a Tom Holland while promoting his new film. Via ComicBook, Diesel confirmed that the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in Thor: Love and Thunder.
“I am waiting and excited for my friend James Gunn to knock this next one out of the park,” said Diesel. “He took The Suicide Squad so he’s about to embark on it. Thor will also, the director talked to me about [Love and Thunder] will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy.”
Diesel then seemed to remember that Marvel hadn’t announced his involvement with Love and Thunder before.
“That’ll be very interesting, nobody knows,” admitted Diesel. “Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”
Thor first encountered the Guardians in Avengers: Infinity War when they saved his life. During the closing moments of Avengers: Endgame, Thor was invited to travel with the Guardians back into space. However, Peter Quill clearly felt insecure about Thor’s potential threat to his role as the Guardians’ leader.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is still without a release date. Thor: Love and Thunder will strike theaters on November 5, 2021.
