Zack Snyder & Jay Oliva Join Forces For Norse Mythology Animated Series

Netflix has just signed some big names to produce a new animated series. Zack Snyder and Jay Oliva have teamed up with the streaming service to produce an unnamed anime about Norse mythology.

Snyder and Oliva will co-write the series and serve as executive producers. Oliva will also be the showrunner and director. Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller are also on board as producers. Stone Quarry Animation will also take a part in the production.

“Zack Snyder’s innovation in visual storytelling has pushed the industry forward and established him as one of the most distinctive filmmakers of his generation. We are beyond excited to partner with him and his exceptional team to bring the iconic characters and stories of Norse mythology to life in his inimitable style,” said John Derderian, head of Anime programming for Netflix.
