Tom Holland Describes His Lost Into the Spider-Verse Cameo

Next week, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will deal with the MCU’s multiverse in Spider-Man: Far From Home. However, the MCU’s reigning Spider-Man almost had a cameo in a different corner of the multiverse last year.

Via Heroic Hollywood, Holland described his scene from the animated hit, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse during an interview with JOE. As related by Holland, his incarnation of Peter Parker would have briefly met Miles Morales.

“At one point I was supposed to be in it,” said Holland. “Yeah, there was going to be another Peter Parker. It was a scene in a train station or something…[and] it was going to be like an Easter egg. It was going to walk through the background and say like ‘hey kid’ or something. Never happened.”

If Far From Home truly opens up a multiverse of possibilities for Spider-Man, then it’s not out of the question for Holland’s Spidey to eventually meet another version of himself. Holland recently voiced a desire to appear alongside Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the previous cinematic Spider-Men.

As for Miles Morales, Spider-Man: Homecoming teased his existence by introducing Aaron Davis (Donald Glover) and mentioning his nephew, but not by name. However, it’s unclear how old Miles would be in the MCU post-Thanos. Regardless, Miles and Peter will probably cross paths in the MCU at some point.
