With Avengers: Endgame dropping in a few days, Marvel is going all out for its promotion. That includes doing special tie-ins with companies, including automotive maker Audi. Now, there’s a new video featuring Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson, as she catches up on current events.
In the ad, the heroine pays a visit to an undisclosed headquarters. There, a fellow agent fills her in on what she missed out on over the past couple of decades. Which, needless to say, is a lot more than you’d expect. The agent also explains that catching up will help Captain Marvel assist the other Avengers.
Since this is essentially a car ad, the company does introduce its latest vehicle. The agent hands Captain Marvel the keys to its electrically powered Audi e-tron SUV. “All it needs is a quick charge,” the agent explains. To which Larson simply gives it a blast and smiles.
While you’re watching, make sure to stick around to the end, as you’ll see a certain ally that managed to survive Thanos’ snap. (We won’t spoil it here.)
While the ad is definitely on the promotional side, it’s still fun to watch because of the interactions between Carol and the agent. The minute she finds out about the dog filter on cell phones is priceless.
