Isagi decides to use his ego to defeat Hugo
The chapter starts with the final showdown commencing between Hugo and Isagi. Isagi is sure to show that luck is not the only factor in Blue Lock’s success. As he faces Hugo head-on, Isagi realizes that competing with him 1-on-1 is a gamble. However, he believes that it’s his luck all along, so his destiny and strategies in the win do not matter. But, in order to devour Hugo, he is willing to utilize all his ego.
Isagi makes the shot
Seeing Isagi in this form, Hugo and his teammates, Barou, Shidou, and Karasu, are left stunned. Hugo concludes that, right now, in the 1-on-1 battle, reading Isagi’s moves and pulling cheap tricks won’t work. This is because Isagi is using all his luck to fight. Isagi makes the reverse shot, prompting Hugo to wonder if he has lost to luck. However, as Isagi thought he had won, he saw that the ball had not reached the goal.
Rin shoots the ball for the final goal
The ball was stolen by none other than Rin, who asserts that he won’t let Isagi throw him aside and go for the goal. Rin declares that he will crush Isagi and that the goal belongs to both of them. Rin shoots the ball toward the goal, but whether the goal happens or not will be revealed in the next chapter.
