Has Bat-Fam Season 2 Been Canceled or Renewed?

A new series from Warner Bros. and Amazon Prime Video titled Bat-Fam premieres today on November 10. The series, created by Mike Roth and Jase Ricci, follows the life of Gotham City’s Batman, as both a superhero and a family man. With its release, fans are already curious about whether the show has been renewed or cancelled for Season 2.

Has Prime Video canceled Bat-Fam or renewed it for Season 2?

There is no confirmation yet about Bat-Fam Season 2’s renewal or cancellation yet.

Showrunner Mike Roth told Animation Magazine that the series was originally going to be a movie. However, things changed when David Zaslav came to Warner Bros. and seemed to have a different vision for the company. He explained how the show was picked by Amazon after it seemed impossible for it to come out on HBO Max. “Amazon saw Merry Little Batman and loved it,” said Roth. “When you see it, you want to see the whole DC Universe in these designs”

Bat-Fam, which is a 10 episode series, premiered on November 10, 2025 on Amazon Prime Video. The show follows Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne protecting Gotham City while also dealing with a group of new housemates. This show from Warner Bros. Animation, Gigglebug Entertainment and Doghead has the same animation style and characters as Merry Little Batman. Roth adds that the show will feature “lower-tier baddies” including King Tut, Copperhead, Giganta and Killer Moth as villians.

Luke Wilson returns as the voice of Batman, while Bobby Moynihan takes on Man-Bat and James Cromwell voices Alfred. “On top of all that, I think we’ve got one of the greatest voice casts of any series I’ve ever worked on,” Roth added. “And that’s a tall thing to say, because I’ve worked on SpongeBob and some pretty illustrious, great shows.”

All 10 episodes of Bat-Fam are now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
