Has Disney+ renewed Marvel Zombies for Season 2 or canceled it?
As of now, Disney+ has neither renewed nor canceled Marvel Zombies for Season 2.
Season 1 will premiere on September 24, 2025, and it will have a total of four episodes. Before the premiere, fans want to know if the series will roll out more chapters. However, the show has yet to announce a Season 2, nor has Disney+ ruled it out yet. The show’s future largely depends on its viewership. If Marvel Zombies manages to earn strong views, a second season is likely to happen.
In his recent interview with Nerdist, Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel Television, hinted at another season. He was asked about more Marvel characters yet to be explored in live-action, but who might work better in animation. Winderbaum replied, “I don’t know if they work better in animation, but there are some characters I’m excited to explore.” He added, “And certainly, we could do that with Marvel Zombies.” He continued, “And there’s still plenty [of characters] to use. There are a number of them. The story originally was much, much larger, and there was no room to put them all in.”
Winderbaum expressed his hope that new characters will appear in the next season. He humorously stated that he doesn’t want to reveal any details about the other characters now. “Because what we want is to be able to subscribe to Disney+ and find out,” he joked. He concluded, “Demand the next one and the next season. Then we’ll get in, and we can surprise you a whole other second time around.”
