Many movie buffs want to know about all of the Jaws 50th Anniversary popcorn buckets and merchandise, particularly which ones are still available for sale at various theaters. A slew of collectibles for this re-release of Jaws for IMAX and other premium screens have already been sold at several chains, including Alamo, Megaplex, AMC, Cinemark, and Regal, several months before the film comes out nationwide on August 29, 2025. (That’s partly because the original 1975 film was released on June 20.)
But many of the official cinema stores no longer have some of these popcorn buckets for sale, so it can be difficult to locate them unless you delve into the precarious land of auction sites. This is despite the fact that some of the containers have been offered at multiple theater chains. To that end, here are all of the popcorn buckets we’ve been able to find that’s still available for purchase and how much they are.
What are the popcorn buckets for Jaws 50th Anniversary?
There are three popcorn buckets for the Jaws 50th Anniversary movie re-release in 2025. One of them looks to be exclusive to Cinemark, while the other two are more universal and can be found at different cinemas.
Jaws Diver Cage Popcorn Bucket – Cinemark

While not the flashiest Jaws popcorn bucket of the lot, this Cinemark exclusive is original and affordable. The online store has the tin container priced at $29.95 (the item will ship in just a day), but other moviegoers who have purchased the container said that it was only $18 on location at the theatre.
The main profile of the rectangular tin, which stands about 28 inches tall, has the silhouette of a diver going into a cage, with a red “Jaws 50” logo along the bottom. A quote from the movie is written on the lid: “Cage goes in the water, you go into the water. Shark’s in the water. Our shark.” The inside of the container is lined in an aquatic blue and has a capacity of 150 ounces, which is rather large when it comes to collectible buckets.
Jaws 50th Anniversary Shark Head Popcorn Bucket – Megaplex, AMC, Alamo

This showstopper collectible of the bunch is this Shark Head popcorn bucket, which features the giant gray shark with a collapsible, wide-open mouth that’s ready to gorge on all that delicious corn flesh. This special anniversary container fits up to 110 ounces and is hand wash-only.
As you might suspect, these buckets are harder to find since many fans have already snatched them up over these past few months. Consequently, this popcorn bucket can be found with a hefty price tag online at $100 or more. That said, Megaplex is still offering the Shark Head popcorn bucket for $49.99 while supplies last (it also comes with a free medium popcorn refill voucher).
It’s unclear whether this container will be restocked at other chains. The popcorn bucket has been available for sale at AMC and Alamo Drafthouse, but they have since vanished from their online stores. If you’re still searching for one, we recommend calling those theaters closest to you to see if they aren’t already sold out. (Some AMC theaters might have been holding back on a few if them so that they have some available when the movie releases.)
Jaws 50th Anniversary Amity Island Pail – Regal, Cinemark

Interestingly enough, the more standard Jaws popcorn bucket in the shape of an Amity Island pail or shark chum bucket is also hard to find.
This blue pail with detailed art of the oceanfront along the side is the largest of the three, capable of fitting around 170 ounces of popcorn.
We’ve seen both Regal and Cinemark promote this Jaws 50th Anniversary pail, though there might be more theaters that will be selling it. Cinemark has priced this bucket at $18 as well, the same as its limited-edition diver container.
