According to production details, filming began on August 1, 2025, in Glasgow, Scotland, under director Destin Daniel Cretton. Holland has appeared in all previous Spider-Man MCU films, making this his fourth solo installment. The script is written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, continuing their work on the trilogy.
Frank Castle’s The Punisher
Jon Bernthal will return as Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher. He first portrayed the character in Marvel Television’s Daredevil and The Punisher before the shows joined the MCU. Brand New Day will feature the Punisher’s first major film appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
