A special Toy Story popcorn bucket has been revealed as part of its 30th Anniversary screening at Regal Cinemas. There are other cinemas, including AMC, that will be celebrating this special date for the 1995 animated film by Disney and Pixar, but Regal is the only one that has announced collectibles for the event. The film only had a $30 million budget but amassed over $394 million at the box office, and it catapulted Pixar to a household name. Here’s the expected release date and price for the Toy Story popcorn bucket.
What is the new Toy Story popcorn bucket release date and price?
The release date for the Toy Story 30th anniversary popcorn bucket and cup is September 12, 2025. The price for the collectible popcorn bucket is expected to be in the $25 to $30 range while the cup should be in the $20 to $30 range.
[Update: This popcorn bucket will also be available at Harkins Theatres, as revealed on its Instagram below. The bucket and collectible cup will release on September 11 there. Cinemark will also be offering the bucket, though it’s not clear if the cup will be coming along.]
The popcorn bucket’s release date was confirmed by Regal Theaters through an Instagram post, which asks readers to “Celebrate the Toy Story legacy in theatres September 12 and take home the collectible popcorn container and cup.” As seen in the image, both items have a dark blue lid adorned with figurines of Woody and Buzz Lightyear patting each other on the back. The containers themselves are black with a large blue “30” on the front and the Toy Story logo in the middle of the zero.
However, the price for the popcorn bucket and cup have not yet been announced. Still, popcorn buckets at Regal tend to cost somewhere between $25 and $50 depending on their intricacy, and we don’t think that the Toy Story one is particularly complex so we’re leaning toward the less expensive side. Similarly, the cups and tumblers in the store tend to be $20 to $25. We should note, though, that the figurines on the lid could push the price higher.
Both items are not yet available for pre-order, but that might change as we head toward the September release date.
