LOIS is an acronym for Longterm Outcast Integration Study in Wednesday Season 2. As this season revealed, LOIS was the top secret project led by Augustus and his daughter Judi. The goal of this project was to extract the powers of the Outcasts and put them in Normies.
It seems that Augustus was obsessed with Outcasts, and his daughter, Judi, later followed in his footsteps.
Augustus was desperate to have the powers and continued with his experiments. He ultimately managed to give his daughter some powers, which allowed her to control birds. His body, however, could not accept the powers, and Judi eventually took the reins of the mission.
Over the years, Augustus and Judi took Outcasts from Willow Hill and hid them underneath the hospital. They created fake death reports and continued to conduct experiments on them. The kind of experiments they conducted was not revealed, but the Outcasts, including Tyler, seemed to be quite traumatized, hinting that they weren’t really treated well in the facility.
This season also depicted some Outcasts from the LOIS experiments, including Patricia Redcar and Julian Meiojas.
Anyhow, the first part of the second season ended with a lot of questions, and fans will have to wait till the next set of episodes to find out many key things, including Wednesday’s fate. But for now, fans can catch the first four episodes of the show on Netflix.
