The character initially masquerades as the Hammer of Boravia, who successfully bests Superman early in the film. In the early stages of the movie, Ultraman is instrumental in allowing Lex Luthor to access Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. This is because the highly secret headquarters reads the former’s Kryptonian DNA.
During their final battle, Superman directs Krypto to destroy Luthor’s cameras observing his fight with Ultraman.
