What Is The Marvel Rivals Season 3 Roadmap? Release Dates for New Heroes & Skins

NetEase Games has surprisingly released the Marvel Rivals Season 3 roadmap with release dates for various skins and events throughout July and August 2025. Along with a new battlepass and map, it reveals when we will see new costumes for The Fantastic Four based on their upcoming movie that comes out on July 25. The major event for the start of the third season is the Summer Party, where swimsuits and beachwear skins for many characters have already been leaked. Here’s what to expect in the Season 3.0 roadmap for Marvel Rivals.

When does Marvel Rivals season 3 come out?

Marvel Rivals season 3 officially starts on Friday, July 11, with the mandatory maintenance period starting at 2 AM PDT / 5 AM EDT and completing within two or three hours.

On July 11, the new hero Phoenix will join the roster along with the aptly named Power of the Phoenix battlepass, which is expected to cost the usual 990 lattice. The Luxury version of the battlepass, which should cost 2,100 lattice, features many unique skins, including Symbiote Squirrel, Golden Black Panther, Phoenix Wolverine, Black Suit Spider-Man, and Symbiote Raccoon Rocket. Domination mode will receive a new map called Klyntar: Celestial Husk.

Then on July 18, a summer-themed event will arrive with numerous swimsuit skins, particularly for Luna Snow, Thor, Psylocke, Loki, and The Punisher. It’s unclear how this event will work and how you’ll unlock these costumes, but we only need to wait a week.

Releasing on July 25 are new skins for The Invisible Woman, Mr. Fantastic, The Thing, and Human Torch featuring the retro-futuristic costumes in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Like other skins based on movie tie-ins, there should be a bundle where you can grab all four costumes in one swoop. Better yet, Human Torch and The Thing will be getting a new Team-Up, perhaps based on a moment revealed in the trailer where Johnny rides on Benjamin’s back and goads him into saying “It’s clobberin’ time!”

After Phoenix and Black Panther get new Phoenix Force costumes on August 1, Season 3.5 will launch on August 8. That’s when Blade is expected to enter the fray as a new hero and when NetEase is likely to introduce a new game mode.
