Is John Cena’s Peacemaker in Superman?

Superman is nearly here, and there are talks about multiple intriguing elements and some big cameos, like Supergirl, and, surprisingly, as some claim, Peacemaker (John Cena). Of course, the two belong in the same universe, and with a second season of the John Cena-led show incoming, this isn’t nearly as impossible as some may think.

Does John Cena’s Peacemaker have a cameo in Superman?

While there is no way to know how much truth there is in the reports, the first screening reports claim that there is indeed a cameo from Peacemaker in Superman. The logistics and the possibilities of this are not impossible. Moreover, according to the reports, the cameo is a very short one.

According to viewers who watched the initial screening of the film, Peacemaker does not appear physically (via MovieWeb). Instead, he appears on TV in the movie, where he trash-talks Superman. Again, this is a very believable segment. If this is how he appears in the James Gunn movie, it will not set up the upcoming second season of Peacemaker in any form.

While reports about a Supergirl cameo came earlier, there were no reports about a Peacemaker cameo. DC managed to hold on to this secret until the first screening, which, in this day and age, is no small feat.

Another cameo that will happen in the movie is from Sean Gunn. He will take on the role of Maxwell Lord. This was also confirmed some time back.

There were multiple other rumors, including appearances by Hal Jordan and Brainiac. But it seems that those were the ones that were not true. Anyhow, this universe is just starting, and there is a lot to look forward to in the coming days.
