Curious which villains will challenge Peacemaker when the series returns for Season 2? With John Cena reprising his role in the first official DCU-connected chapter of the HBO Max show, DC has confirmed a new lineup of antagonists drawn from both classic comics and original creations. From returning enemies to major debuts, these characters will push Peacemaker further than ever.
Here’s a breakdown of every confirmed villain appearing in Peacemaker Season 2.
List of all Peacemaker Season 2 villains
Peacemaker Season 2 will feature six confirmed villains drawn from across the DC Universe. The season, premiering August 21, follows John Cena’s antihero as he grapples with past trauma while facing new enemies after his time in The Suicide Squad and Season 1.
Rick Flag Sr.
Frank Grillo plays Rick Flag Sr., appearing after voicing the character in Creature Commandos and joining the Superman (2025) cast. In Season 2, Flag hunts Peacemaker for killing his son, Rick Flag Jr., in The Suicide Squad.
Red St. Wild
Michael Rooker portrays Red St. Wild, an original DCU character created by James Gunn. Gunn described him as “the world’s foremost eagle hunter,” targeting Peacemaker’s companion, Eagly.
Maxwell Lord
Sean Gunn returns as Maxwell Lord after appearing in Superman (2025). He interviews Peacemaker and accidentally says he “sucks” over the mic. Lord’s history in DC comics suggests he may have a hidden agenda.
White Rabbit
Brey Noelle plays White Rabbit, a Batman villain with duplication and super speed powers. Season 2 footage has not shown her yet, and the show has not revealed her storyline.
Judomaster
Nhut Le returns as Judomaster, who previously supported the alien Butterflies. His status in Season 2 remains uncertain after escaping in Season 1, but his combat skills suggest a continued threat.
White Dragon
A new version of White Dragon appears in Season 2, wearing blue armor instead of red. While Robert Patrick’s Auggie Smith died in Season 1, it is unclear who now wears the suit or whether it is a hallucination or legacy revival.
