Everyone who dies in Jurassic World Rebirth

Jurassic World Rebirth, in which a lot of characters have terrifying encounters, has quite a significant death count by the time the credits roll.

The Gareth Edwards film begins with a death in the prologue. In it, a scientist drops a Snickers wrapper on his way to the lab. This causes a power outage that allows the D-Rex to escape and becomes the opening death of the movie.

In the second act, two members of Zora’s (Scarlett Johansson) team die after their boat is attacked by the Mosasaurus and Spinosauruses. These are Bobby (Ed Skrein) and Nina (Philippine Velge).

The next major death takes place when the team is extracting the final sample from an egg. This time, it is a member of Duncan’s team, LeClerc (Bechir Sylvain). Moreover, this death is particularly brutal.

Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend) becomes the last named character to die in the film. He is devoured by the D-Rex, who leaves behind only his arm, which is holding the case with samples. The crew of the team’s rescue helicopter also perishes when the D-Rex destroys the helicopter with them inside.

What happens to the D-Rex in Jurassic World Rebirth?

It is not extremely clear what happens to the D-Rex at the end of Jurassic World Rebirth. Duncan (Mahershala Ali) lures the massive creature away to allow the rest of the team to escape. At first, everyone believes he is dead, but he survives and is later picked up by Zora on the boat.

Thus, the exact fate of the D-rex is not revealed, but it likely survived the film and has the prospect of returning in future sequels. Like previous sequels, the movie leaves the door open for a potential follow-up with the surviving characters.

Jurassic World Rebirth is now playing in theaters.
